The first version of the Layover Stretch Travel pants from Roark passed us by, so it's tricky to make a direct comparison with the newer 2.0 version. Nevertheless the travel-specific feature list is exhaustive; zipped hand pockets, ventilated yoke panel for breathability, a couple of handy stash-pockets (including one with document security in mind) and all wrapped up in a stretch material for comfort.
The material is genuinely ideal for travel; the weight of fabric makes it very versatile in terms of the weather you might expect at your destination - not too light and not too heavy. And there is enough stretch in the material to offer all-day comfort however much you have to fold yourself into a third-class seat.
