2023 is Timebomb Trading's 30th year in business and etnies has been along for 28 of those years. When deciding which shoe to do a special project with we wanted to have something relevant and wearable but that also has nods back to our shared history.
We picked the Windrow because it's a shoe we all wear at Timebomb and it's also a favorite of our skate team. The stylized "E" logo is a nod back to etnies’ history but with a ‘0’ on the medial side to call out our 30 years. The tongue label is a reworked version of our logo that features a ‘30’ in our standard colour bars. And for those who've traveled or been to tradeshows with us, the footbed artwork tells some stories that should probably only be mentioned at a bar over some “tough guy” shots.
